Jordan Proctor is a classical pianist and piano teacher based in Perth, Western Australia. Jordan teaches classical piano and music theory from his studio in Banksia Grove. He holds a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours (Classical Performance) and a Master of Arts (Performing Arts) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). He is a PhD candidate at WAAPA, where he is engaged as a sessional piano lecturer.
Jordan specialises in the performance of Classic-era (C. P. E. Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Clementi etc.) and Romantic-era piano repertoire (Mendelssohn, Chopin, Liszt etc.) on period instruments. He incorporates his specialist knowledge of historical keyboard instruments and historical performance practice into his piano teaching—modern or historical.
